How Long Did You Wait?

In your current relationship for those of you having sex - how long did you wait before you did it from the time you first met / went out?

BTW not in a relationship, so can't answer my own question!!

well, im a little embarassed, it was a little less than a month. but we have been dating for a year now, so i dont think that really mattered!

From the day we started going out with eachother it was 5 weeks and 1 day if i remember rightly. Now we have a healthy sex life :)

my first boyfriend it was 4months...big mistake though because he dumped me a week later.

my current boyfriend was more complicated - we'd been text/email/phonecall friends for a year before we met...he lived 180miles away and turned up out of the blue to visit,we knew we were right for each other and only waited until our next meeting, 2weeks later.

Waited 3 weeks after our first date with my current boyfriend.
It's different when it's not your first time, it doesn't seem such a big deal. For my first time I'd been with my boyfriend 6 months.
I think, if you're a girl, as long as you don't do it on the first or second date (this is purely because it seems to give blokes ideas about you, that you're not in it for anything else) it's fine anytime.

My current boyfriend and I met at his house party 2 years ago. I was pissed off my face and tried to sleep with him. He refused because I was so drunk but we met up a few weeks later and then had sex. :lol:
I asked him out a week after that (day of my AS results) and we've been together ever since. Maybe not the conventional fairytale ending but who cares? :love:

With my current boyfriend i think it was about a month and half, i don't think either of us wanted to be the one to make the first move incase the other didn't want to. I would rather wait a bit than to have jumped into bed with them and realise the relationship wasn't going to work,

But when i lost my virginity me and my boyfriend we waited about 10 months, and before we did it it was never really an issue that we hadn't, guess it was one of thoes natural progressions and the fact that after a while you get ultimatley curious :p

With my current boyfriend (Hate that phrase cos it sounds like I'm gonna get rid of him at some point! Never intend to, this one is for keeps!), it was just over five months. I'm his second and he's my fourth - I only waited three months with the first!

My bf and I were friends for two years then didn't see each other for another two year but kept in touch (he went off to uni) and then we got together last summer. We spent the first five months just getting to know each other again and we honestly didn't feel like anything was missing, it was just a bit of a "why rush it? we'll do it eventually but for now we're having fun together". We're both nearly 21 and it was quite nice to have a grown up relationship for once! Still couldn't keep our hands off each other for that first five months (still can't now and it's eight months today!) but we just never felt like we needed to prove anything by taking it further :)

My past relationships, I give in pretty early. First relationship that lastes longer than any other, I waited for nearly a year.

I am met a new guy now and we have decided to take things slow, as we don't want to rush into anything. Lets see what difference that makes. :)
