Ok here goes! If having sex as a teen and u really cant afford to get someone pregant can a guy wear 2 condoms to be "extra - safe" ? Has anyone tried this and what happens ?
Matt
I think it recommends that you don't do this.
If you are that bothered, she can take the pill.

1 is better than none but then two is no safer but the risk is increased due to the two condoms rubbing together & they could potentially split due to the friction forces.

You could get one of the 'extra safe' condoms, they are thicker and are covered in spermicide just in case.
I wouldnt wear two though.

Dont wear 2!!
Just make sure when you put it on that you do it properly.
She could go on the pill or any other method of contraception for free.
You can also get free condoms from family planning clinic or watever its called noW!

Like the others said, 2 condoms won't do you any good. But the fact that you're willing to take control of your reproductive health shows real maturity. Good on you :)
Have you considered the 'double dutch' method? I.e. where the girl is on a hormonal form e.g. depo, the pill and the guy wears a condom.
Either way, it would be a good idea to pop to your local family planning clinic and have a chat with them about your options. You can find your local centre here (http://www.thesite.org/community/localadvicefinder)

your best option is to ask your girl to go on girly contraception as well as using a condom.
you will never get a girl pregnant wearing two condoms - u will probably also never cum. and plus like someone else said...they might cause friction against each other.

don't wear 2 ... it will increase the friction between the 2 condoms so they are more likely to tear ... and so you are MORE likely to get your girl pregnant.
like other people have said, use a back up method with your patner, if you are really that concerned about the chances of pregnancy ... like the pill or a diaphragm ...
having said that though, 1 condom should be safe enough, as long as you are using them correctly. :)

But then that's not even 100% effective. That's why it's best for the girl to go on the pill for example as well to be on the safe side.

yes, i agee with that, but i was saying that when "accidents" do happen using condoms, it's mainly down to human error, rather than defects in the condoms themselves...
but true, no single method of contraception is 100% effective.
