sore boobs

i'm pretty sure i'm not pregnant, i'm on hormonal contraceptives (mid pack), so don't think it's pre-menstrual, and i don't have any related symptoms (no lump, no bleeding, no discharge).

are there any other reasons i might have sore boobs?

Is it definately your boobs?

I know that sounds really, really stupid but I thought I had sore boobs for ages, but when I got it checked out I was asked a multitude of silly questions and it turned out to be muscular pain.

Failing that, could you have sore skin? (perhaps another silly suggestion, but one all the same!)

i'm pretty sure it's my boobs. it's on the same places on both sides, too, if that makes a difference...

it hurts when i press them or, just generally jiggle as and when walking, but not really at any other time.

Perhaps it is a result of weight loss? I'm not too sure.

have you been excercising? maybe chafing or muscular? sometimes i get sore boobs for a couple of days mid cycle.

Breast pain is actually quite common, it's called mastalgia. It doesn't mean breast cancer, pain is very rarely a symptom of that until it's advanced. But no-one knows exactly what does cause it either, although dairy foods have been implicated to some degree.
