just wondering want to get out of England and i want to join the NYPD (Ney York Police Department), has anyone got any infomation how i can?, do i have to be in the UK police first and for how many years etc., any documents i need?

Thats the basics of it to be honest.

The best thing to do for getting a visa is to get a job before you go over their as they can get you a, working visa i think thats what its called anyway, if its not then i'm still sure they can get you a visa either way.

also try having a read on the Us embassy uk website (http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/visa/visaindex.htm)
