Some one at work told me that if you have blue eyes, you shouldnt wear blue eye make up!?
Has any one else heard anything like that?
What colours would suit blue eyes? Any ideas....?

nah, rubbish.

if you wear the right shade, blue can make blue eyes look amazing.

just don't overdo it. unless you're into the pat butcher look ;)

i have blue eyes and i wear blue, purple, olive green, black and brown mostly. but i don't do eyeshadow, just a smudge of eyeliner.

I say wear whatever colour you like. Anything can look good so long as its applied well. I have blue eyes and wear pale blue, navy blue, olive green, dark bright pink, different purples, pale pink, pale green, black, grey...

I have blue eyes too I tend to wear pinks, greens, pale blue and a beige colour. As long as its done right you can wear whatever . Plus I know a lot of people with brown eyes who wear brown eye make up and they look good!

grey eyeshadow looks really good on blue eyed people.

I've got bluey-grey eyes, and have just found my Green eyeliner whilst rumaging around my old makeup bag...

I forgot how nice it looks! Apparently, blues and greens enhance blue eyes...

Nah. Unfortunately I haven't inherited my mum's blue eyes but blue eye makeup enhances the natural blueness of your eyes. I spoke to a colour and style consultant the other day (for work, it's not like I could ever afford an appointment with one!) and she said it's more important how the colour looks alongside your skin tone. i.e. depends how warm/cool your colouring is. Speak to some beauty counter bods for free advice on which colours suit your skin best.

Go for turquoisey green - it looks gorgeous on most eyes. I've got hazelly-green eyes and a little bit of green eyeliner brings out the natural green tint.
