My friend who is 16 years old is going out with a 54-year-old grandmother.
He met her when he was in the Trafford Centre one day, he told me.

I'm shocked at the age gap - 38 years between them. Now my friend says he wants to marry her! I'm shocked by this!!

In 10 yrs time he'll be 26 and she will be 64 - won't he have an elderly wife to look after??

His mum is more tolerant of the relationship, saying "if it makes him happy, then it's fine by me", but I'm concerned for him.

I'm a bit worried about him. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I've tried to talk to him about it, but he's now been unavailable for the last week so how should I deal with it?

Thanks
Kazza

its highly unlikely at 16 he really knows what he wants. sorry to be patronising but most 16 yr old boys are governed by lust- if he's slept with her and shes his first he probably will say that.
bad move. dont let him go thru with it if it gets that far!
i bet he hasnt thought bout how his parents will react and im sorry but, WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH HER? shes nearly a pensioner!
38 years isnt a problem, the fact he's a young impressionable teenager is.
