Right, this has been annoying me for...literally minutes now...

Anyone noticed that there is no chemistry between the Lemsip-drinking bloke and his snitty boss lady? I felt like he pulled the suggestion of dinner out of his arse, as she was in no way giving him bedroom eyes or anything else for that matter. You'd think these casting people could hire "actors" with a modicum of chemistry :rolleyes: or maybe it's just that I pay too much attention to shit adverts...however, it was far more interesting than whatever program I was watching at the time. :lol:

this should totally be in 'Relationships' :eek2: :p

Did you see how fast the Lemsip worked he drank it and straight away it made him feel loads better if only it did actually work that fast.

Lemsip makes me fall asleep.

'Dinner at 7?'
'Yes'
<2 hours later>
'Oh yes, I'll have the rib ey... (snore)'

Could be rather inconvenient.

Never mind the fucking dinner, what about the fact that we'll all now be expected to work through chronic flu with the aid of this Lemsip bollox?!

Strangely I noticed this guys Keanu Reeves-like acting first time around as well.

that's why they're on a lemsip ad, and not doing othello at the royal shakespeare.

Not to hijack the thread, but I also hate the advert for direct line (i think) where the guy takes the flowers off the roof of the car in an "overblown romantic gestures" kinda way. The lady is so damn ungrateful and just drives off without even saying thank you. If my boyfriend did that i would be super happy! Stupid cow :p

Exactly. It's an advert, I don't expect the best drama.

Maybe it's because I don't dramatically analyse the scenes that I find the advert ok. I think if I started wondering what the guy's motivation was for asking the woman to dinner, then I'd be missing the point of the advert.
