This may have been done before, but whatever.

When I move We're gonna need 1meg broadband, because there will be 3/4 PC's hooked up. We also need wireless. Do routers come with the subscription like 56k modems did? Or will we have to buy one? Any idea what are the best ISP's to go with for that connection speed, and any idea what router to go with? I have a 3rd party wireless connector thingy, so I think it will work with whatever router we get.

We'll be using it a lot as it could be between for of us.

What do you mean capped or uncapped?

And I haven't move yet so we have no phone line set up, so i don't know if we can get 4meg BB...

A ‘capped’ package is one where your Internet usage is limited (or capped) to a certain amount. Suppliers normally cap usage in two ways, bandwidth or time.

According to the amount of information that you can send or receive though the Internet. This is typically called your ‘bandwidth’ limit. For example, your monthly bandwidth limit may be 1Gb.

It is important to understand that every time you do something on the Internet, you are eating into your bandwidth limit e.g. If you download a 4meg MP3 that will be 4meg of your bandwidth used or everytime you look at a webpage it uses your bandwidth when you download the images from the site to your computer, etc. The capped time version goes according to the amount of time that you spend online. For example, your monthly cap may be 50 hours.

If it's not just for you then I'd suggest an uncapped service. I use BTYahoo! 1MB package on a wireless network between 1 PC & a Laptop and we get 30GB p/m bandwidth limit which is fine for me.

Deffinatly check out www.adslguide.org.uk and check the "Availability Check" on the left hand second menu bar to check if you can get broandband in your new area. Also check out the FAQ which will tell you everything you need to know about broandband & home networks networks, etc. Also check out the "Compare" link also in the second menu, you'll be able to compare ISPs to see who has better speed, etc.

As for routers I have a Belkin F5D7630uk4A 54Mbps Wireless ADSL Router wich is also a firewall and modem. I quite like Belkin, easy to use and never had any hastle with them going wrong or anything. You'll also need a wireless network card for each PC, check out the ADSL Guide site for more info on stuff like this.

I'm gonna need uncapped then...definately.

ETA: It appears that all of Greater Manchester is broadband enabled, and I won't be that far from the city center.

To answer your other question, it entirely depends on the package that you purchase as to if you would get a router included.

But, to get a four port wireless router you would probably have to buy an overly expensive broadband package. You would most likely be better off clubbing together to buy your own, but hold off on that until you know for definite that

a) your line will be broadband capable at the speed you want and
b) if you are getting cable or DSL.
