just out of curiosity - how does the hair grow back?

does it come back thicker and darker like with shaving (and hair removal cream it seems)

or does it kinda make it eventually stop growing?

think of it as the same principle as waxing only it doesnt remove the top layer of skin

pulls the hairs right out of their socket things

=grows back slower and finer

*seizes the chance to big up epilators some more*

i've been using mine for about 2 months now (i do it about every other week), and i don't have proper hairs on my lower legs anymore. if i let them grow, they're tiny, very blonde and a bit curly.

and you get used to the pain very quickly.

i just need to start doing my upper legs more, and then i will be perfectly schmooth.

How much are they?

not cheap, mine was £35, but it means never having to buy razor blades or gel, or pay for waxing again. i think it's worth it.

Would you go near your underarm with it? :-/

It does sound good, but worry about the pain. I mean if it's worse than waxing. Then it's a no go for me.

mine's got a razor attachment, so i just attack my underarms with that :)

Ahh right... notice they have ones with a gentle massager on it to help ease the pain. Though does it really make a difference?

I am strangely considering in getting one now.

i always do my underarms with it.....if your worried about the pain then just take a couple of regular pain killers about half an hour before you do it....i did that the first time but not since....bikini line/area hurts like fuck though

i find that the shorter the hair the less pain, because the epilator will grab onto it better and not grab longer bits and just pull them instead of pulling them out, which sometimes happens if its too long

could always try some sort of local anaesthetic cream on te area? although it really doesnt hurt in my opinion!

think i have braun too-the one with the ice pack? i dunno tho I may be gettin confused!

I always do it after a bath so it doesn't hurt so muc. the massager can help with teh first few goes while you get used to it so I'd recommend it. The ice pack was no help to me tho. But each to their own!

I find that if i do it ecah night for a week then no hair but tend to use it in the week and then cheat and shave on nights out! But I do find my hair is a lot thinner now and less stubbly when it grows back-good!!

I also cannot big them up enough!

Well i had been thinking about buying one for ages and ages, i was just put off because of the price but since all you ladies have been bigging them up i thought why not seeing as i'm as flush now as i'm ever going to be and can i just say.......OWWW

Although the best move was probably not to try it on my bikini line before anyone else, i was just excited and wanted to use it and my leg hair wasn't long enough. So yes i think i am going to wait for my leg hair to grow so i can try it then, you ladies that do it on your other bits, are incredibley brave and i've got to hand it to you!

Its not like tweezers dear lol. Think of it like an electric shaver, only instead of trimming the hair it pulls it all out.

I'm thinking of getting one myself but becuase I want to use it on my bikini line is there any numbing stuff I can get. I know it was said to take painkillers half hour before but I'm a wuss. Would having a strong drink work? I know it help when I wax, but I dont know if the pain will be different or something.
