Has anyone seen this?

I have.

What a waste of 3 hours. It's got to be the worst film I've ever seen.

It didn't seem like it really had any plot to it. I didn't really understand what the point in it was. It's just about a man who shagged lotd of women, designed lots of aeroplanes none of which actually worked, went a bit crazy and then built something that actually worked. And that's it. 3 hours worth of film just to explain that. It might be your cup of tea, but it really is not mine (or any of the other people at the cinema I think).

I thought it was a superb film. The acting was terrific, especially Cate Blanchett as Katharine Hepburn.

The film wasn't made to be a Hollywood blockbuster and I think the adverts are misleading because they suggest it is going to be action packed, which it isn't.

The acting, direction and actual production of the film was all first class in my opinion.

I didn't even want to see the film, I wanted to see National Treasure but my two friends didn't, so we saw The Aviator. I ended up enjoying it far more than they did!

I hadn't seen any adverts for it, so it's not like I went into it thinking ooh this'll be action packed!

But, all the same - glad you liked it.
