Still really good, but better when I saw it live.

I thought it was poor, very dull and feel sorry for anyone who paid money to watch it.

The only thing I found offensive by it was the crap comedy it contained imo.

It was funny, but it underlined why I don't like opera.

It looked like it would be good, but I can't stand screechy warbly operatic singing so I turned over and watched Jackie Brown instead.

My sentiments too.

I liked the fact that it was done in this style, thus merging the supposed high brow of the opera with the low brow Springer style. I liked the storyline and the subtle jokes. I thought that the ad breaks were well done.

I couldn't stand the noise though. That wasn't singing and it ditracted from the message IMHO.

I switched over just after "Jesus" arrived, I just couldn't take anymore.

well it was entertaining and I thought it was ok. Not the best I've ever seen (not many tho!) but not the worst. It was worth a watch so i could comment unlike dad who said oh how crap before even givin it ago.

presume theres a thread about this elsewhere to discuss. If not i'll be back

I thought it was fantastic. It had a mixture of in-your-face and subtle comedy, the arrangement was quite impressive if a bit repetitive (and it annoyed the God Squad, which can only be a good thing).

Perhaps I'm just immature and still impressed by swearing ableit subconsciously.
