I have slightly wavy hair which i straighten, I use l'oreal hot straight on it when it is towel dried and on a nightout it actually stays straight, yay! But when i wear my hair back in a bobble i have bits of hair that begin to comeaway from my head, not frizzly just 'released'. Does anybody know what i can use to keep it smoothed down without looking stiff? hairspray(tressemme) helps a bit but isnt all that fab. I use any shampoo really(mainly coloured or normal as i have highlights) at the moment followed with sunsilk 1 minute conditioner. Wax makes my hair looks greasy(coz im poo at applying it)

What products can keep my hair from escaping and looking so windswept? Hair serum i find greasy!

This is what i aspire to! :

you'll maybe notice she can pull this sleek look off even when her hair is tied up(i know its on tv and touched up every 30 seconds but it must be possible !

would a new hairdryer, shampo etc help?

when you blow-dry your hair keep the nozzle pointed down

when you straighten it do you straighten from the roots? Sometimes this can cause little bits to stand up because they are not rounded with the natural fall of the hair over the head...if you get what i mean?!

to get rid of my sticky uppy bits i use a gel. just a tiny blob spread of my palms and then used to smooth down the surface

hmm i know what you mean, thanks. but its not sao much that which is the problem. I cant describe it, say that wind was blowing from behind, then the front of your hairline has loose hair round it, not just a few strands but as if it has been pulled down. oh lots of people get it, i cant explain, its not scraggles!

so do you mean odd strands or quite alot?

i think the only way to prevent this is hair spray...cos its just a natural thing that hair does-its meant to move.
