They brought out a terrible pink floyd cover. That doomed them. And the rest of their stuff is quite pants.
I voted "Hate them" btw.

Have to agree and disagree with Dr Pirate. Their cover of Comfortably Numb was shocking IMO. I thought they were gonna be a one hit wonder. But I've grown to like alot of their stuff since then.
I may even go out and buy the CD.

i think they're great, which surprised me as they aren't generally the music i like - but hey - a girl can be diverse!
but yeah, i think they're possibly one of the best bands to emerge this year

Even as a fan of dance music, I love the Scissor Sisters. The radio versions of their records don't do much for me though, so I tend to aim for the club mixes. For example, I love the Junkie XL Remix of Mary.
hate them, their attempt at Comfortably Numb was dire, and all but one of the songs i've heard by them are dire. The one half decent song being laura.

I think we had this discussion before - how can song which is completely different in every way but the words be a cover version?
I thought they would become a novelty band like the Darkness, but I now have their album and think it's great.

I was at the gig last night too! Didn't even mean to go, my friend sold me his tickets a few days ago because he couldn't go. Twas a very very good set, really know how to put on a good show. I really liked Mylo as well.
And with the Comfortably Numb thing, you miss the point if you think they're trying and failing to match Pink Floyd, it's a piss about.

Yeah, they are ok. I don't love em or hate em really.
Mind you, i prefer them a lot more right now than i did at the beginning of the year...

I have to agree that they are good, not the best, but good.
I really like their music because it makes me feel good, its such a 'different' sound.

I was right up at the very front, and got a picture of Ana as she came past the stage, standing on the speakers, tho she turned her head as I just went to take it :( ....ah still loved them.

Ahh I can never be bothered going to the front at gigs anymore unless it's someone I really like, just chilled in the middle somewhere!
I'd never really seen the band before (except the lead singer) but Ana Matronic is HOT!! I think my girlfriend liked her more than me though...

Filthy-Gorgeous is my fave track...hav had it on my mp3 for months now and have been raving about it to everyone.
So glad it is the next single.
Had the chance to see them on their uni tour early in the year but i had a essay to finish for the nxt day (damn my slack work ethic).
Can't wait for their new albulm

Do you mean to Belfast? That'd be rather good!
Or just in general music terms with another album? (also good)

To Belfast. Me sister read an interview they done in a paper raving about how great Belfast was and how it has been their best gig yet and was overwhelmed by the response they got as they didn't think they were that big over here and are planning in defintely coming back this year.
I'm all happy :)

Haven't heard much of them but what I have I hated.
Plus they played a gig at the club I go to on Saturdays and because of it taking so long I had to stand outside queuing for fuckin ages.
