Has anyone gone through these? I've landed a job with an airline on the condition I get through the maths and verbal tests (it's not just me, everyone who was successful at interview has the same)
We were all under the impression it would be maths along the line of: A customer buys a pair of sunglasses costing £90, he gives you $200, if the exchange rate is £1=£2 how much change would you give him
or general maths like adding, subtracting etc but it was number patterns ie 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 ?
The verbal reasoning thing - we were given four statements i.e. Mark is in a band
All of marks friends are in the band
Julie is mark's friend
there are some violinists
then we had questions that we had to deduce weather it was true, false or neither.
I don't understand how number patterns affect my ability to evacuate and aircraft or serve customers with drinks/duty free when the computer goes down. EVERYONE found it really difficult, I felt especially sorry for my friend who is from Slovakia :eek:
I'm just concerned that I'll have failed it and lose the job :( :crying: I mean they have seen me interact with others, in a role play environment AND in an interview situation, surely I can't of got this far only to be tripped up by something so silly :(
