I've been invited to a medieval (sp?!) banquet on NYE by my boyfriend's parents (with them and the three other couples they normally socialise with - scary!)... One question, what the hell do I wear?!
It's at a local pub/restaurant so I don't really know how dressed up to be.. I plan to talk to his mum over xmas to find out what she will be wearing, but I'd be grateful of any suggestions! :)
Ta in advance!

our local pub has medievil themeed nights its quite sad really but most of the people there wear those dresses with like the tight corset style top and huge skirt then those strange hats made of hankys with the corners tied ! you can get pretty standard dresses i think that normal women would of worn and i think you can get more dressy ones too depending on what you want i guess.
if your looking to buy im sure ebay will sell something along those lines or most fancy dress shops should stock something along the lines

I doubt very much that you must dress up...
If you want to, you could hire a 'medieval' gown from a fancy dress shop, but it probably won't be necessary.
You could just have a shop round for a corset looking type top, or something with a square neck and big cleavage lol.
