I think this is the right place to put it.

I need some sort of cream or facewash to make my skin clearer and unblock pores and stuff.

If anyone has anything like this or any info please post.

Thanks :)

Go down to Boots or Superdrug and you'll find that kind of stuff next to the deodorant/shower gel stuff.

I'd recomend staying away from The King Of Shaves stuff, because it was very harsh on my skin and I ended up looking glaikit and spotty.

Go for Simple or Nivea :thumb:

i love tea tree and witch hazel stuff. it's gentle, effective, and doesn't smell girly, so might be worth a try.

unless youve got really bad skin ive found that the clean and clear foaming face wash is the best

if it's sensitive and you know you arn't allergic to naturall products then i woulf go for a lush thing because they will carm the skin as well as sort the spots out. have get a moisturiser as well, because harsh drying winter winds and sun can make the skin make extra oil, which clogs the pores....

earlier on in the year i picked up some hri clear complexion tablets for about 5-6 quid from superdrug, really worked well, herbal things

For facewash, St Ives Peach and Apricot scrub is effective at making skin feel smooth/buffed. Clean and Clear also look good if you have spots etc. Wouldn't recommend Clearasil; i alwyas thought it was too harsh/abrasive, although haven't tried it personally.

Lush smells great - I always go in there and don't buy anything; just stand there sniffing! They stopped making my favourite product, grrr.

Christ - that shop at Piccadilly Circus just reeks! I'm not apologising for this one, haha - just go downstairs and see how long you survive! ;)

I find it quite relaxing, I could quite happily work there in fact. What was your favorite, Luce?

it's true, you know.

i like the smell of the individual products, but after about 5 minutes in the shop they have to peel me off the ceiling.

its lovely when you walk in there and all the lovely smell hits you, dont think i could work there though would be sneezing all day!!

also another idea, a witch hazel or tea tree stick works well if you put it on individual spots before you go to bed

I've always used 'Clean and Clear - deep cleansing cream wash' and I love it. Makes my skin feel incredibly clean, fresh and smooth.
