I was reading an article in Company on the train home

One of the articles was a day at a sexual health clinic (or something to that affect- can't be arsed to go check)

Although the details in the article weren't exactly gruesome it was the pictures that did it - It *really* put me off the whole idea of going to a GUM clinic (not that I need to be put off anymore)

whats everyone elses views on articles such as the afore mentioned? I know that they're put there to inform but just *shudder*

What I can't stand are the Herpes commercials. It's these beautiful women who make herpes look glamourous. I think it's all bull shit. I've never had herpes but the pictures I've seen of it sure as hell don't look comfortable but they somehow forget to show how much pain she would be in if she had it.

What a great way to promote STDs!! :yuck:
