Sore knee

I have had a sore knee for well over a year now. I have been to the doctors but all he gave me was anti inflamertaries which didnt help. My knee get sores when i excercis but even when I dont its sore and I dont know why. Any suggestions?

I have a dodgy knee too, it doesnt hurt that much anymore but it went through a stage where it was really hurting. Sometimes it does ache abit thou and I dunno why, but also when Im going upstairs it makes this creaking sound, its horrible!! Dunno what it is thou!
