okay.. so i have a question...
a couple days after having sex... (we used a condom) it started to hurt to pee... and then i would get a little bit of blood...
and couple days after that started... it went away...
and then yesterday.. i smoked pot for the first time in my life (completely hated it btw.. NEVER AGAIN!) and today it hurts like CRAZYYY to pee.. and i bleed ALOT! like.. it's more blood in it than there is pee....
could this be an STD??
or is it a urinary tract infection??
i r scared... :(

Although Kentish has said this and you have looked it up don't go self diagnosing yourself until you see a doctor.

I'm not a fan of self diagnosis via the net, you'll end up thinking you have something worse than you actually have. We aren't doctor's & we haven't done the appropriate tests. Any advice we read or hear is a stab in the dark and could very possibly be wrong.
And Reece you should make time to go see your doctor, you health is more important than anything else.

Glad to hear it. Make time.
UTI Basics (http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/Mosby_factsheets/Urinary_tract_infection.html)
Look for these in the drugstore (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=37684&catid=11645&trx=29384&tab=0#0). But don't pay $62 for them

Hope you're feeling better soon. :)

I'm not nagging, before you say, but I think that your health is something you should *always* make time for. Going to the doctors is something you should never compromise on.
sorry, i don't mean to nag but please go :(

Go to the doctor. UTI's can easily turn into kidney infections and that is something you really don't want. Sort it out early.
That's more or less exactly what I said to her :eek2:
Are you spying on me again?

Doctor, first. In the meantime, cranberry juice, as Becky said. It really helps, but you should drink buckets of it. It won't help with the blood...but it will ease the pain.
Go to the doctors. Seriously, think about if this gets any worse....you'll be kicking yourself you said "I don't have the time."
Instead if posting here, go down the docs.
Promise I won't be hilariously funny, or downright sexy until you come back.

Even if you knew for sure that it was a UTI you'd still need to go to the doctor to see if/how they can help you. I've had a UTI before and was hospitalised for ten days - they shouldn't be taken lightly, you know. Either make time to take 30 minutes off work now or risk having to take 2 weeks off if it gets worse.
Take care and make that appointment
;)
