Pill and being sick

I took my pill on friday, cant remember the exact time and friday night I was sick, would it of affected my pill???:confused:

if it was within 3 hrs of you taking your pill so if you took it in the morning then you should be fine if you took it in the eavning then maybe not

If they were more than about 4 hours appart you're probably fine. Take your pill as normal, and use a condom until you start your next cycle.

Thanks, I think it was more than 4 hours after. I didnt think anything of it till me fella said somert about it!

You'll probably be fine mate. If you are concerned wear a condom as well.

The general rule is that you should have taken your pill 12 hours before you were sick. If not, use extra protection for 7 days. It obviously changes from pill to pill and probably tells you on the leaflet, but if you're still unsure, call the fpa helpline4:
