 :(
Dont think about the downside or the negative aspect of your relationship, sure its their and currently a part of it but you should focus on what you have above the distance, you have a partner that loves you and you love back. Sometimes it does get a bit much and it gets you down, you just have to pick yourself up and think to the future.. and look on your loing relationship.
At least those in love have just that, love ( and a relationship ). us single folk live in hope but it never comes :( or is that just me

They do suck, yes. however, I think they make you appreciate your partner more and when you are together you actually do things, aim to have a good time and stuff.
When you are in a relationship where you see each other every day then quite often you lose the specialness of your relationship because you don't make as much of an effort.
But in general, yes ... LDRs suck. I can sympathise with your pain having done it for a while.

 that is true, when we're together nothing else matters
:crying: *wails*
I've tried putting it into perspective after what happened to my friend - i.e. we will actually see each other again
It just sucks sooooo much.. I'm dying just to go to bed and snuggle up next to him
I don't want the relationship to be like this forever and when I've said that he's agreed but he won't talk about it properly.
He's said that when I'll be in Manchester it'll be so much better because we'll get to see eachother every second week or so and it won't cost a small fortune either - but other than me going to Manchester he won't budge any further - he knows I'd go over to him but it's like he doesn't want me to
