Hard drive monitor tool

Does anyone know where i can find a tool like task manager in win XP that shows hard drive activity? including what programs are using it in real time.

with all these viruses and spyware around today, if i hear the HDD going for no reason i get paranoid!

Hard drive activity happens all the time, even on the leanest, well housekept, PC's. Most of the time it's just Windows doing some obscure background task, and using the swap file (using a part of the hard drive as if it were extra computer memory, and reading/writing to it).
Try Googling, adding the word Freeware, to try and find something for free.
As long as you keep your computer spyware and adware free, have a virus scanner, and have some sort of firewall in place, then there's a minimal chance of having some sneaky software in your PC.
