LOL i really cant believe im asking you all this , but Ive been seeing my girlfriend for a month, shes been my mate for ages so my mum knows her and everything, its just I havent quite got round to telling my mum yet, and Im sposed to be going roudn to my GF's in half an hour. How the hell do I tell my mum? Im quite close to my mum, but I normally keep myself to myself, Im not the type of person to tell their mum EVERYTHING, like some of my mates. She'll not really care, because she never shuts up about how pretty this girl is anyway lol. Coem on people how do I?

I would tell her quite casually to begin with - just say you're going round to this girl's house to drop something off, or with some mates or something. If you do this a couple of times your mum will probably guess what's going on anyway so it won't be so hard to tell her...or she'll ask you herself and you can just confirm what she already knows.

Just go for it - sounds like you have a cool mum who is going to be OK about it all anyway, could be a lot worse!

Well you could send her a coded message informing her of the fact that you have a girlfriend, written on a piece of rice paper which can only be read on the fourth of every month by a japanese virgin with red hair.

Or you could say 'hey mum, I've got a girlfriend'.

Doesn't sound like you've got anything to worry about so why do you need a particular way of telling her?
