Hugs

Is it abnormal in some way for a normal guy to want a hug from time to time (from female mates)? Almost every time i get a hug, it's me who starts it. I get a feeling that ppl don't want to have contact with me. And, no, i do not smell awful... :)

I'd really like to know if there's something i might be doing wrong...

Hugs are great, they have the awsome power to make you feel a little better whatever the situation.

Its not weird mate, i get hugs from my girl mates all the time its no biggie.

If they didnt wanna hug ya they wouldnt, its ok :)

no, but bear in mind that not everyone likes hugs, so don't be offended if they don't like it.

I like hugs, sometimes its nice to just have someone hug you, when i was with my ex boyfriend he would always give me a great big hug after sex and i was never really like that, as i didn't really think guys wanted to do that, but then i realised it felt so much nicer to be hugged!
no i don't think its abnormal nmrmak, i do think alot of guys i know tend to give me a hug when i see them out or whatever in a club to say hello :D

Every time you GET a hug YOU start it.

Was watching EveryBody Love Raymond today and his wife commented he only gives her a massage cos he want sex after.

If you give a hug then give it but don't do it expecting something back.

Learn the difference between giving and recieving or even taking affection

If you kiss someone onthe forehead or onthe cheek you GIVE them a kiss

If you kiss them on the lips you're more likely taking (stealing a kiss)

Kiss someone onthe cheek or forehead you do so to make them feel better, kissonthe lips and you're doing it to make yourself feel better (unless it's a peck type kiss)

Same goes with your hugs!! And you can hug another guy!1

me and all my mates hug each other when we meet up or when we leave, dunno why really. i think it all started on a drunken day in the pub, lol. but tis great cos you feel really close to your mates, and it's nice to get a hug every now and again!!

I totally agree with you. My hugs are always to make someone else feel like they are not alone, and i'm there and supporting them. I was jsut kinda disappointed that nobody was there when i needed reassurement. And it's usually like that. I'm not talking about stealing hugs and kisses. I'm just saying that i might use a pat on the back now and then.

Some of my friends are cuddley people and some aren't, there is some i hug all the time and some i never do because either that would be a bit weird and uncomfortable for me, or that they are not really huggy people themselves.
No one in my family ever hugs me, i cant even remember the last time my mum did, probably when i was like 10 or something?

Most of my friend are quite huggy people as well, which is nice. i'm not the person to iniate it though as i'd just fel awkward, seeing as most of my mates are all girls.
