Hey all,
I have a friend (who i'll call Joe) who had a meeting with some online friends, one of whom he liked and who (she said) liked him back.
However when it come to the occassion, she ignored him totally, made fun of him and constantly flirted with other guys (in front of him)
Joe is now very upset and feeling low about himself, and he thinks he will never get a girl who will like him, I'm trying to convince him that someone will but he isn't listening.
Just wanted you're opinions really,
Thanks

"Joe" (we'll call him noname for arguments' sake) has discovered the trouble with internet dating.
Maybe she just didn't like "Joe" when she saw him, and was so lacking in social skills to do this tactfully. Flirting with everyone but one person seems to be a popular way for a girl to give a guy the hint without actually having to say anything.

THings change.
The only way to work out what happened is to ask her. You should get "your friend" to be blunt and ask her why she did it. Though, of course, "your friend" has to be prepared for a bad answer.

Yeh, but i'm trying hard to convince him that he's not ugly and stuff, and i'm just a bit concerned for him.
I won't go into details for fear of him having a go at me, but she was being very very horrible to him, which considering he had liked her for years, is a bit of a confidence blow.

It's awful, I know. It's happened to most people at one time or other, it really messed my head up for a bit.
If you don't ask her what happened, you'll never know. And what if is worse than knowing, it doesn't feel like it at the time but, trust me, it is.
As for the ugliness issue, the only person who can make you believe that you are good looking is yourself.

Oh, OK.
Not that I care who it's about, the advice is the same.

It happened to a friend of mine... She was not "in luv" but it was hard... well, anyway, she moved on...
Tell ur friend NOT to stay in touch with that sample of girl... I mean... maybe she just wanted him to be jealous... maybe not!
