why is football going like this these days, i know santinis reasons were person (although i doubt it) no one gets behind the manager, you lose a few games in a row and it's his neck on the line, there's no spirit in football these days.

Yeah, rumour has it that he had a barney with Arnesen. Arnesen's denied it, which means it's true.

Interesting to note that Beattie has been laying into the Saints' chairman Rupert Lowe about the very same thing.

I think they said on Football Focus that it had something to do with Carrick not playing.
