I don't mean to be rude but are you originally from the UK?

The reason I ask is cause your English isn't too good & this could be a factor why not many people speak to you on your cause as you may be hard to understand.

If you're English and you talk like this in real life it's no wonder no-one talks to you.

Johnathan - what is your course on and how much longer do you have to go?

Have you tried talking to them? Try starting conversations with people, you cant just expect people to come up and start talking to you if they dont know you. even if you just say hello its still an ice breaker. just talk about anything.
i dont know what the course is about but you could talk about that, or the weather, or even what was on tv last night it doesnt really matter but as long as you are friendly to people and attempt to talk to them then chances are they'll talk back.

Hi there Jonathan,
It seems like you are going thorough a bit of a difficult time at the moment. For most people, meeting new people, in new environments is tricky and making mutually satisfying friendships is a little difficult to start with. It is important to remember though that making friends is a two way process;- perhaps you could try talking to some of the people on your course - the likelihood is that people you find interesting will be eager to make friends too. It could be that some of the people on your course just arn't a good match for you; but that's natural: nobody can get on with everybody! How do you feel when you are not doing your course?

hey you guys.....a little bit more compassion maybe? It seems Jonathan's finding it tough enough in his course without getting slack on the boards too!

Jonathan - how much longer do you have left on your course and have you spoken to your tutor about any of this? Might be an idea. Is there anybody in particular that you feel you would like to get to know better?
