Windows 3.11 ScreenSavers

I want to install a newer version of windows on a laptop with only 3.11 on it, the only thing I want to save frm it is a very good screensaver, any idea if just the ,scr is needed and if they'll work in windows XP / 2000 ?

from what i know its all you need, surely you could test it on another computer?

The scr file is the whole screen saver, so that's all you'll need to transfer. I don't know though it there can be any compatibility issues.
