Part of me says "well done" to Chelsea for taking a no tolerance stance. Part of me asks cynically if they would have done this to someone like Lampard and part of me wonders if they should have offered support rather than dismissal...

God knows that I'm all for civil liberties and all that, but if Chelsea did suspect that Mutu was taking charlie then I think you could perfectly expect them to look further into it.

Especially if it was affecting him in any way during 'work' time. Had Mutu done his charlie during his private time and ensured he had no training or games within a reasonable frame of time afterwards, he wouldn't have been picked up by Chelsea.

Of course they deliberately targeted him.

He's off the wage bill now.

Good for them, in all honesty. Though if Lampard did it they wouldn't have.
