We went through about five years of totally shite "reality" TV with fuck all else on apart from that crap. Thankfully there's a few shows worth watching on now though. 24, The Sopranos, Nip/Tuck, The West Wing, Kingpin, Deadwood, The Sheild etc.

Tragically, it seems only the Americans can make decent TV shows anymore. S'pose they've got to have a few good shows with the amount of utter shite they have...

The few minutes of it that I've seen were quite painful to watch. And the contestant most likely to win should leave the show now and set themselves up with a different stage name and different record company. Singers who come out top of reality shows get built up then torn right back down when the "fans" and the papers are tired of them.

Much as I hate the show, the blonde prettyboy opera-type singer who cries a lot makes me want to watch it religiously. Damn him! ;)
