Just how strict are they with seating tickets at big arenas?

Basically, I bought a Green Day ticket (I really don't know why), but I am two "blocks" away from the group that I am going there with and staying with afterwards. If I were to sneak off after a while, would they care that much. If there was a spare seat, or if I could convince someone to move, would they really care that much?

I'm talking about the MEN Arena in Manchester, if that makes any difference whatsoever.

I would assume quite strict otherwise you could be in somebody else's seat?

I have never been to a sit down gig, i can only imagine it wouldn't be that brilliant, espically for a band like greenday or something I think half the atmosphere is lost due to like no 14 year olda and old balding men starting mosh pits and people throwing bottles of larger and stuff, tch!

No you can't unless it isn't sold out-but maybe they will be lenient with you? But tbh you will get that absorbed with the band that you won't notice who you are sat by!Enjoy!

In the arenas the middle (where the hockey pitch is) is standing, and then theb seating tickets are in the three stands. Or this is how it is for bands like Green Day- The Who had seats in the middle too, and was completely sit-down.

Doc, no, you can't change seats. They don't care where you sit, but every seat will be taken by another person. And unless they are by themselves they won't move for you.

You wont be able to move -> when they wouldnt even let me go down and say high to my mates 2 blocks away.
