There were far better cartoons around when i was a young lad than there are today poor kids have to put up with rubbish these days imo

that's what ebay's for - as a matter of fact it was a european (french) cartoon rather than Japanese, just made in co-operation with a staff of japanese animators. There are still rumours that Myazki (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away) was one of the lead designers.

I was talking about the tank engine the other day. remember te fat controller and annie and isabelle the carriages? haha i miss the excitement of watching those... kids arent really into cartoons as much as i used to be as a kid. i had my little pony pink lunchbox till my school made us take matching ones :(

When i was little i used to like all boy cartoons and things like Thomas the tank Engine Postman Pat and Turtles, i can't even remember any girly type things that were on when i was little?

You obviously haven't met mini-ninj. He's loves his cartoons. Infact The Cartoon Channels are one of the main reasons why I got Sky :)

Tom and Jerry, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Ho, Roadrunner, Scooby-Doo, Baby Looney Tunes, Cow & Chicken, Dex Lab, Flinstones, Turtles.

Hehhehe - I had the box set of the complete collection of Ulysses delivered to my door on Saturday morning, courtesy of www.play.com! Ł17.99 including delivery!!!! Superb!

I've got the Dungeons and Dragons box set on pre-ordr (less than a week to go now!!) and I`ve also got the complete collection of Transformers! Loads of He-Man and many others...

The two that I'm after that aren't out yet are Pole Position and Mysterious Cities of Gold... Grrrrrrrr!

Oh yes - it's great to re-live my childhood through cartoon! ;)

We didn't do cartoons on lunch boxes...we did Disney...

But we were Power Rangers people in our house...we used to play it at school in the playground :blush:
