Strange, never seen this happen before in over 2 years of having a pc but for the last week at least every day when ive turned on my pc it tells me there is a new update... but like everyday? This happen with anyone else at all, just find it a lil strange, its not even the kinda update that requires you to turn restart the pc...

Maybe you returned some options to their defaults.

i've been getting it too often ...i've set my anti virus/firewall to never let them in ...my xp pro is a copy!
