Is Glastonbury getting overrated?

Would you rather go to Reading?

Are festivals just not your scene?

I remember a couple of years back I was visiting my sister who lived near Reading and anyways i had my Daughter and was on the train coming home (I think it was the last day of the festival) and I just didnt feel safe on the train. There was just a huge mob of people, some had been drinking and a lot of them dressed like way out and I felt a bit intimidated by them.

Nah festivals arent for me, give me a Blue concert and im happy :D

Unfortunately, festivals don't really happen any more. Reading, V2, even Glastonbury these days, are recuperated simulacra of the free festivals from the 70's, 80's and early 90's.

now, that was a festival! Unfortunately, the 1994 CJA put a stop to that sort of thing. :(
