View Full Version : Hey I need some help
Heya all I've had a look and I can't seem to find much about this so I'd thought it'd be best to ask.
Basically I got very drunk last week at a mates party and got with this girl and we did a few things... but I cut my finger and being drunk didnt realise..... but now I do know and I'm kinda worried because I've heard you can get STDs from open cuts when fingering girls... is this true and would I have to go to a GUM clinic? because I'm a bit scared about it only being 17 and still a virgin
I'd be very greatful for any help! thanks in advance,
Joe

Joe,
I think you'll be ok... I've never heard cause of going to a clinic 'cuz of that!
I'm guessing it wasn't a massive cut if you didn't notice it, but just keep an eye on it until it heals and make sure you clean it properly so it doesn't get infected!
As for STD's though, I don't think they can get passed like that... don't worry.
thanks but I swear I've heard in PSHE that you can, apprently your supposed 2 wear latex gloves when doing stuff  grr stupid drink getting me into trouble :(

ive not heard that one before ... *thinks*
but seriously, if you are worried there is no harm going to get checked out. it will give you some peace of mind and they wont laugh at the clinic, they will take your concern seriously. as bromalog said, keep an eye on your cut finger, see what happens with that too.
its healed already (its been more than a week really) and I don't have any iches or pusy stuff so hopefully im ok. I need to talk to the girl I suppose see if shes done anything withs guys before becuase according to one of my mates shes a virgin so i dno
hi
I really can't say this enough, you should not worry about getting advice on issues about sexual health. It is something that loads of people get embarrassed about but the people who work at GUM clinics, and similar organisations, are there specifically to answer questions that you are not sure about and deal with similar problems all day long. It is better to be on the safe side and be clued up for the future. I've put links below that are useful (the fpa has a confidential advice line).
