Are the Uni courses in Scottish Universities the same as in English Universities?

E.g. Geography or whatever.

Surly by now you must have realised that ALL uni cources are differant as they all do differant modules etc etc, plus finding a "geography" course for example is quite hard, its normally all split up like Marine geography, Geology etc.
The short reply is no, check the god damn perspectus (sp) thingy :D

No, like Bopperz said different uni's offer different modules and different styles of teaching. It'd pay to look around. (:

I think he meant the system, not the content.

Kinda. Bit of both really. I want to take a Business course when I'm older but if I moved either up or down the country or even out of the country to England say, would it be roughly the same? Would I still have the same degree?

I should think the same degree, yes. Like a BA (Hons) in Business is a BA (Hons) in Business - I can't see it varies. Just the course content. If you look around, you'll find a uni that offers you all the stuff you're interested in. Hopefully. :)

Every uni will devise it's own course and modules, so there might be a bit of a difference in content. Although you'll still end up with the same degree, you'll find that certain degrees from certain universities will carry a bit more weight in industry. For example: Heriot Watt's Science degrees carry a lot of respect but their language degrees aren't considered any better than one from another university.

If you get what I mean. I haven't explained that very well.
