i now have 48 hours exactly worth of music on my playlist. i have 68 artists. 17 genres. ranging from AFI to the white stripes. does that make me sad? or just make my computer slow?

Shouldn't do, I have 1538 songs, lasting 4.2 days. Takes up 7.13GB. iTunes is a wonderful thing :D

Just put all the music I have into one playlist - 43 hours. Nearly two days, and only 1.5 gig. 611 songs. 29 full (paid-for) albums by 25 artists plus....177 mp3s by.....lots of artists. And this is just this year. I haven't had the PC for long.

Yes, I just sat here working that all out. I have one friend who has probably downloaded a few mp3s every day since we were eleven - four years ago.

I'm reading all of your numbers, and think "wow, there are people who hear so many things?". I'm not much into mp3s and such, so I have practically none. I like my (relatively few) CDs of select artists.

not all mp3s have been 'nicked online', whenever i buy a new cd (which is quite often) i rip all the songs to my computer so I can listen 2 them on here as well.
