Why are all the crap American sitcoms finishing at once?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we won't have to put up with all this inane fuss "Oooh the new series of Friends starts tonight, let's be fucking idiots and have a Friends party!"

But why are they all finishing at once? Is there actually a God up there?

I thought you liked Friends?

The only other one I can think of is Frasier, and that's anything but crap in my opinion.

Nahhh, I can't stand it.

I don't have an opinion on Fraisier, mainly because it doesn't have the same gross stupidity around it.

Oh, and Sex and The City :p

OH! I read this (http://vbulletin.thesite.org.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50066&perpage=15&highlight=brinamite%20friends&pagenumber=2) thread ages ago, well whenever it existed, and just assumed you liked it.

I have too much time to think.

Yes, I know you don't like it, and what you actually said in that thread proves. But you kind of defended it, and ignoring what you had already said, saying how it wasn't trying to be high brow and stuff and....

I'm going to shut up now.

I see.

I still think it's a pile of wank. But it's more to do with the type of people who watch it too, and the worrying lack of moral values amongst our young women in particular, now have due to the increasing popularity of the likes of SATC and other assorted rubbish.

Plus I choked on some Cola earlier, so I've got a grudge against the Americanisation of our society at the minute

I loved Friends, though kinda glad it's over - coz they were dragging it abit -

Though will always love 'Sex in the City' - Was disappointed that ended :crying:

How'd you mean?

Friends is aimed at those with a very basic sense of humour.

I hope it just ends. Forever.

cant diss frasier though and that had virtually no publicity surrounding its finishing, and it is very very funny :) not as good as some things still but worthy enough still

Thank God. Maybe Channel 4 will actually invest in making some decent British dramas like As If and Queer as Folk instead of buying all these unfunny, unchallenging imports.

Keizo; I'm dissapointed, I thought better of you than to actually like Friends.

As for Sex in the City, it was shite at first, then got a bit good, then the last series was dire, SOOOOO sappy!

I don't follow it religiously and buy the DVD box sets like some people, but it's good to watch when there's nothing else on

I am still disapointed, yes the very first few shows had enough gags in them to make me titter on occasion but after that I have no understanding of how anyone can find them funny.
