I like the odd listen, but across an album i get really bored, to be honest.

The singles are great however, as is This Is The Last Time.

The single sounds like Coldplay - dreary, repetitive and depressing. That is my opinion.

They're not bad.

They're very bland and homogeneic, something you'd hear on Virgin and think "yeah, not bad". They aren't bad, but they've been done before. Loads.

Put them in a skip with The Darkness, who are also bland, homogeneic crap.

I would prefer to shoot myself in the head with a blunt bullet covered in stinging nettles, rather than listen to keane.

Not heard much by them, but that Bedshaped song is a tune and a half, one of my favourite tunes from this year easily and I'm not that into rock/indie. And the video's the dogs bollocks as well

Is the album similar or heavier or what? Might consider buying it.

Bedshaped is one of the softer songs of the album. None of the tracks are particularly heavy, but Bedshaped is one of maybe 3 which are very soft stuff.

Download... - I mean purchase;

Bend & Break
Can't Stop now
Somewhere Only We Know (If you haven't already heard it)

This should give you a good idea of how the tracks vary. It's a good album.
