Psychic Warriors Ov Gaia released an album called "Ov Biospheres and Sacred Grooves" back in the early 90's.
A fantastic slice of melodic Detroit style techno, but a horribly pretentious band name and album title. But they were TOPY fanatics, so its not surprising.
I felt quite embarrased asking for it in Swordfish Records in Brum. :o

That was a take on the Jackson Five, and there were five members originally, so that isn't that stupid really.

Just something I had been told. They are/were a bigger fan that me so I assumed they were right over me.
However, the Jackson thing is correct.

Yeah it seems like a take on the Jacksons. In Ben Folds Five, Ben Folds is on piano, then there's bassist Robert Sledge and Darren Jessee on drums, but it has always been a trio.
Not a big fan of them though

the best, and stupidest song title is on one of mr. kaff's games:
'i am downright amazed at what i can destroy with just a hammer'
don't know who it's by, but it is entertaining.

Here we have many bands whose names will sound crazy: Wooden swords, dead bugs, bright shadows, wester neighborhoods... There's even a hip-hob band called "semi-mackerels" (as in, the fish). As for bands that sing in english, I'd heard of some "dead green mummies"...
