it's a cruel world where real legends of music don't get any recognition from the young general public
i am of course referring to such delights as elton john, phil collins, simply red, all those artists who simply make music a pleasure to enjoy, and those who have produced classics that will still be listened to many years from now
in homage to these great artists, here is my list of the true 'legends' of music, feel free to add if you want (and please, no suggestions that people nobody had heard of before at least 1995 can even come close to being a legend...)

bob dylan
the beatles
phil collins
elton john
bob marley
fleetwood mac
simply red
john denver
eurythmics
abba

(thats all i can think of for now, please add some more if you feel so inclined, and feel free to criticise my taste in music, i don't care and i'm sure i can find some equally insulting things to say about your tastes... hehe....)
