Whoever decided that this was a good idea should be shot! I bought my first pair of button up jeans (because they are a really nice pair) but the flies are such a pain! Four buttons, why? Needless to say at parties at the weekend undoing them and redoing them got more difficult as the night went on

Whats wrong with zips nowadays it seems most places only sell button ups :(

It's trendy? :chin:

Least with button up ones, you notice more if it's opened or not before you leave the loos rather than embarrassin yourself when people find your zip is down.

Sure the more you wear them, it will just turn into a habit to button them.

Chill Me Lad - All Good Things will come out of it ~:D

I once had a pair of button up jeans and I first thought they'd be a bastard to work when I was pissed but I actually found them to be way easier because I just yanked the top and they all came out :)

I used to be like that too. Well, when I was 12, but I guess that isn't the point

You get used to it, and buttons look better anyway.

i like button up jeans.
(though i agree they can be a pain to undo at times)

also for safety, you can't get your bits trapped in buttons like you can do with zips :crazyeyes

yup, am also a button up fan.

only most of my trousers are so big i can slide them off without undoing them, so ease of removal isn't really an issue.

i've also made a few pairs with a velcro fly, for the extremely lazy. got the idea from mr. kaff's bike jeans :D

I bought a pair of pop button jeans today and they are a little bit annoying but I do know what you mean by the button up flies very fiddly in my opinion.

If you dont like buttons, then buy ones with zips.
simple.
Shops usually sell both sorts.

Tbh the only jeans that still use zips are plain, boring ones, usually from Asda.

I'm talking about guys' jeans here. Why in Gods name would Renzo be buying jeans from Miss Sixty?

Seriously, the last pair of jeans I seen with zips were plain blue Levis 501's.

do people really care??????????
does that mean you would be turned OFF if a man wore jeans with a zip?
about half of my OHs jeans do up with buttons, and half with zippers, I think the ones that look best are the ones that are cut nicest, whether they have zips or not is neither here nor there, I dont think id even notice

They piss me off.

Although with no zip I suppose there's less chance of a DIY vasectomy after you've just been for a piss

do you have to undo ALL the buttons on jeans button up flys? i only need to undo the top 1-2 and i can get mine off fine. all the best blokes jeans have button up flys now and i think they're better than zip. levis 501 are still much better in button rather than zip (iv got some in button).

I was at a party last night...very drunk. Saying the person who invented them should be shot. I basically couldnt do them back up after taking a piss :yeees: Curse my drunkness

What kind of parties do you go to where you're constantly taking off your trousers? ;)

I agree tho, they are a bit awkward. But at least you can't get caught with your flies undone!
