It's mostly the brain-dead morons who slavishly follow BB, isn't it?

I always slag it off, and then I always go and watch it. I watch it for a while, realise who shit it is, then I turn it off. Then I think " what if something interesting does actually happen?" and then I turn it on again.
A sad state of affairs. This year, every time I think of watching it, I am just going to remind myself of the tragedy that was BB4 post-Tickle leaving for the first time.

How dare they put such a shoddy product to George Orwell's name.

Good answer.
Better than "I would never be caught dead watching that shit!"
"Uhhh, how do you know it's shit?"
"Because I...u...uhh....errr...caught it whilst channel hopping"
:yeees:
BTW, I think it's such a shame that folk on here find it so much easier to constantly slag off what they don't like (self included, to an extent), than big up what they do like.

That is so very very true.
I used to post in entertainment quite a lot,but then I gave up, because it seems like whenever someone makes a topic about something its full of people slagging it off like they know everything, I'm scared to make topics sometimes!
As for big brother, I watched the first few and I was addicted, the last one I wasn't really interested in though.

Ah, but only as counter arguments to popular opinions and beliefs.
I could go into great detail but I'll spare you :p

Big Brother always comes on around the time of GCSE/A Level exams. I watched the first one quite a lot because it would always come on just after I'd finished revising and I'd need some mindless escapism. I don't think anyone actually thinks it's quality viewing, but a lot of people still watch it anyway!
I won't be watching the next one, though. I saw some of the last one (BB4, was it?) and the people just seemed like the most boring people in Britain. Big Brother kept giving them the most ridiculous, contrived things to do just to keep the viewers entertained, which wasn't interesting at all. I find it more interesting to see what people do when they're left to their own devices rather than see Big Brother telling them to dress up in stupid outfits and do stupid things every five minutes.

I loved it. Though all through the book I had a sneaky suspicion that that person was the person that did the thing so the ending wasn't as great as I thought. It would make a great film though. I read it at the time BB3 was on, so I would just keep imagining the different people in the book in the Big Brother House and the ending taking place where the ending of the series takes place ( when Davina pretends to put money in the winner's account).

Dead Famous was brilliant!!
I sorta guessed the person who did it too but it took me quite a while if I remember rightly.
Speaking of auditioning...my mate really wanted to but they're holding the north east auditions when Boro are in Cardiff at the Carling Cup final so he's gonna miss out. He's not happy!

I don't think I'll be able to make any of the other auditions. I can't understand the reason for the change in applying for the show.
