Anyone going to the USA - better go to the Toilet in the airport

I read this from a site - posted by an New Zealander!!



We stopped in LA to refuel on our way to New Zealand and were forced to go through full immigration to reached the transit lounge. Needless to say it took hours of queuing, forms and some passengers who weren't on the 'friendly country' list were finger printed and photographed. One poor Swiss guy was told he wouldn't be allowed in the country because he didn't have an electronic swipe passport.

We didn't even want to enter their country, we were in transit for God's sake. Finally get back on board and the embarassed pilot informed us that under newly passed American Law we weren't allowed to congregate in groups even for the toilet.

All I can say is 'Go the Brazilians' who are now finger printing and photographing every American tourist who enters their country.

I have made a vow not to go anywhere near the States for the next decade and will change any flight to fly the Singapore route instead.

That isnt very true, and I fly very frequently. The toilets onboard aeroplanes are unisex, so if there is a queue, it is first come first served. And as for the American's, I have no wish to go there, and I doubt I ever will.

I can't piss on a plane anyway. I even survived a 13hr flight to Singapore without going.

that is so stupid, i mean on a 2 1/2 hour flight to rockhampton i had to go to the loo twice, and i nearly went a third, i just held on to we got to the airport. I dunno what it is, maybe it's the height but yeah i have to pee every hour!
Luckily i have absolutley no desire to go to america (cept new orleans but i'll go there by boat). Actually i think i might go by boat everywhere now. Stupid planes

When my mates when't to the States there was a 5 hour delay due to security reasons and when they got to the airport in NYC (I think) they were kept for another two hours. The security took all sharp metal objects from the bag.. razor, tweazers, scissors, etc, and chucked them in the bin. Next was that every time you when't to the loo you would have to be searched each time you came out. :rolleyes:

My mum and sisters' flight to DC was kept in the air for an extra hour because George Bush was at the airport and entering the airport's air space could endanger Mr. Bush and anyone with him. They eventually landed and spent an hour getting trying to get through customs- even when the UK was best buddies with the US!
