the kids don't need a minster, but WE do.

for the past few years me and my posse (well anyone i know just about) have been campaigning for youth right and the fact that if anyone needs to be listened to, it's us because we are the voters of th future, some of us already are voters some of us already parents, but we are the people that will be look after them when they are old and WE will be running the country.

when i live in england, i sent vairous pations to my local MP and got no responce. if this is how they treat us is this how they want us to treat them when they are old??

we do have rights, but very offten they are abused by people who just because they are older think that they are more knowlegeable or have a right to control us. ok parents are our parents and they have their right to dictate your life to a surtain extent, as do teachers, but like i said to a surtain extent.

please add to this because i feel very strongly about this issue

Don't see the need TBH, unless you are suggesting that there should also be a minister for every other age group, who each have their own needs and demands...

Perhaps if more people of your generation showed an interest in their MP, he/she would have no option but to listen. Personally, if I was you, I would turn up at his next "surgery" and ask him why he hasn't responded to you, and then ask him the questions which you wanted answers to...

I fail to see why there should be a minister for young people, just like I fail to see the need for a Minister for Women or old people.

If your MP ignored your questions then find out when his next surgery is, and go and visit them in person. Get all your mates to do the same thing, and he cant ignore you all. Personally Ive found my MP very responsive, even if politically and morally he is a twerp.

As for the otehr issues you raise, I agree with you. Old people look down on young people, whereas I strongly believe that it is the elderly that are the cause for ALL of the problems in the world. The easiest way to deal with them is to kill them, but as that is illegal youll just ahve to re-educate the moronic fools.

Though I dont think the youth are particularly repressed or under-represented, its just that mosty people are, technically, middle-aged. Lifes a bitch, really.
