Personally I think he's got a point. If Scottish MPs have a taken a decision on this for Scotland without English MPs having a say, I can't see why they should be allowed a vote on this. The same goes for Northern Ireland or Wales if the situations the same there.
If top up fees will affect Scottish universities they should have insisted on a national vote and the live with the same decision as us.
I can't blame them for wanting the best situation for their constituents, its their job but it would be interesting to see if they made the same decision for England.
