Do Easyjet go to the states?

Or you could call a regular dealer and ask. Most probably they'll put you on a plain to some small country, and from there to the states if you want it really cheap.

It depends how cheap you want to go.

All of the so called 'budget' airlines do NOT do trans-atlantic so dont bother with them.

Your cheapest option will probably be to get onto a flight that is going to the US from somewhere else VIA London. My sister did this with Air India and it was dirt cheap.

However because your going to Seatle you probably wont be able to get direct flights there cheaply. What you'll have to do is go to a hub in the US then get an connecting flight. Where the hub is depends on the airline.

You might want to consider going on NorthWest, its a foul airline all told, horrid food and not much room but its cheap. They have a hub in Detroit I think, you could probably get a flight from London to there then get a smaller flight from there to Seatle.

However you might find it cheaper to get the flight over there on someone like Air India, then get a SouthWest airline flight to Seatle. They are a 'budget' airline within the US, the first in the world as it happens and with such a weak dollar you might be able to order over the net your connecting flight really cheaply.

Well hope that helps. Good luck.

if you're going to be on your own then you'll have to fly as an unacompanied minor, so there's no chance of losing you

I would suggest that you ring up the airline alliances, that way they'll find out the best option for you, on the airlines in them

You can fly on your own at that age, but I'm sure if you explain the situation to most airlines they would send someone to see you through the check in, boarding and getting your conecting flights.

Although how airlines like Air India would be about that I'm not so sure. I think your best bet would be to fly to New York on BA or American both of which are relatively cheap then get a conecting flight on SouthWest.
However SouthWest might not like JFK because its an expencive airport, it might be better to go to a cheaper one on the east coast and fly from there.

Well, your best bet is just go straight to the airlines, so try

www.southwest.com

www.aa.com

www.united.com

etc.

Less than that, with the dollar so weak at 1.84 I think it is now.

To be honest you would be best to book now before the dollar makes a bit of a recovery which is probably will in the next month or so.

Go direct with a major airline, unfortunetly there arn't any 'budget' airlines that go to the states, unless that is you want to go -via- another country with airlines like 'air india' , then yes prices will fall

Direct flights to a destination like that will be expencive, I looked into the options and the best way forward would be a stop in the middle at a hub airport.

No, not at all. 16 and above you're free to get lost in an airport all by yourself.

Hell, I've been flying without one of those wonderful orange stickers since I was about 14.
