Sombody just said, referring to controlling grass, that they had 'more weapons of mass destruction than Saddam Hussein', and the chairman, who's name is Eric Robson I believe, said "That wouldn't be difficult." Got some applause, too.

Typical of the Baghdad Broadcasting Corporation, of course ;)

Oh, come on. Its an off handed comment and your terming them the Bagdad Broadcasting corp?!

Your so alarmist that to be honest your post deserves nothing but redicule.

And, if Sadam does have loads of wepons, where are they?

Calm down... Surely that was Uncle Joe reporting a funny comment about the fact that no one believes Saddam has any weapons of mass destruction. The BBC comment was ironic wasn't it? Hence the ;)

Funny thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if Uncle Joe's jokey comments are repeated seriously by an irate S*n editorial tomorrow, or- god forbid- by Richard Little**** himself. :D

Green-fingered Pinkos may scoff but had they done so in Saddam's Iraq it may have earned them a place in a torture-chamber followed by summary execution.

Think on.

Think on. "Sound advice from the panel there. Onwards and upwards... Any questions that don't relate to palm trees?"

Not a lot, as usual.

Of course, what solo fails to mention is that he himself couldn't give a fuck about civil liberties or freedom of expression in Iraq until Bush and Blair told him so.

Ever heard of Uzbekistan solo?

Isn't it just what Saddam was?

When the US eventually has no further use for Karimov and declares its plans to invade Uzbekistan and free its people of his tyranny, how long will it take you to post here supporting the US government and telling people what Karimov does? Two minutes? Five at the outside?

However long it takes, the pics of Donald 'Mr Shake Hands Man' Rumsfeld with president Karimov are just waiting to roll... :)

but seriously Uncle Joe do you really listen to Gardeners question time? I do have Radio 4 on in the background most of the time, but I'm a passive listener where GQT is concerned. The WMD thing just caught my attention ;)

(oops, Question Time!)

Sorry Uncle Joe, I didnt mean to take it too seriously, its just some people here, well you know.

I find Gardeners Question Time a bit dull really, but I would love to have Radio Four on all the time at work but I cant, which is really shite.

That's OK, Bong, there was room for misinterpretation... :)

Actually listening to the Saturday Play now, which is 'The Mouse That Roared' (rather good).
