I was reminded the other day of this show's existence. Since then, most people i've asked either haven't heard of it, don't really remember it or don't like it.
I'm new & wanted a way to into myself. this is it....
i love Quantum Leap sooo much! it's pure genius, i mean the guy's name in it is Samuel Beckett!! HAHA!
it fits into that category for me with Chips, (u all remember Chips dont u? two cops on a bike?) & the short lived, but well loved Chris Carter incarnation, Rags to Riches.
Does anyone know when Quantum Leap will be out to buy on DVD in the UK & Ireland? anyone?
what other shows (not kid's shows cos u know it's been discussed before!) does anyone miss?
oh i'm also mentioning Red Dwarf just cos it's brill, but it is out on DVD

Quantum Leap and CHiPS are shown on Sky. I think it's UK Gold but not 100%.

Quantum Leap was being shown on UK Gold .. although I haven't seen it listed for ages .....
CHiPs was being shown on Bravo ......

Quality TV shows the both of them ..... :D

Quantum leapp is indeed on UK Gold - it replaces Dallas which they started showing at the begining of the yea almost every single day - was wonderful to see Dallas being played that often .. think that was my favoruite soap of all time!!

Quantum leap like others have said is on UKgold.

I watch it whenever i can. Its on from 10am until midday (they show 2 at a time). Last sunday was the one where the Evil leaper returns.

There is speculation that there will be a new 1 off 2 hour special being planned. If this goes well then there is a possiblity of a new series....

but the new series is said not to star Scott Bakula (Sam) and Dean Stockwell (Al). It is specualted that they may want a female leaper.

Now you see part of me is happy at a possible return of Quantum Leap ..... but part of me is a bit worried that it may not have the 2 guys who really made the show .... I don't think it'd be right with anyone else starring in it other than Scott Bakula & Dean Stockwell ......

quantum leap is ace. it was a bit of a cult thing when i was about 14. havent seen it for years though.

i think a new series with a female leaper would be coowell!
it would be completely different & not as good as the orignal series, but still worth checking out, i think!
oh i thought of another one today.........Alf! gotta love Alf!
& does anyone remember that show starring the little girl as the robot where when she shook ppl's hands she'd actually lift them up?

Pretty certain that the whole of Quantum Leap was released on video in the Uk but is now deleted. It was two episodes to a tape and if you should be on ebay or down your local second hand video shop if your looking for any copies.
