wasn't sure if this should go here, or in work, so feel free to move it.

has anyone ever worked their way round the world, or worked abroad on a temporary basis?

me and the other half are thinking of spending some time in either canada or australia after i graduate. getting a visa is hard, cause we don't have much full time work experience, and i wondered how hard it is to get a temporary work permit.

anyone?

It sounds like a working Holiday Visa is for you.

I went on a working holiday around Australia last year using a 'Working Holiday maker' visa. They are not too difficult to get, as long as you have a valid British passport and proof of funds etc.

Find out more here http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/visiting_whm.htm

Have you considered New Zealand? They also do a similar scheme offering 8000 places each year:

Hope that helps.
